Q: Do I need a doctor’s referral to consult in physiotherapy?

A:Our physiotherapists are able to assess without a prescription/doctor’s referral. However, some insurance companies require a prescription to cover the costs. Verify with your personal insurance company prior to your appointment to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Q:How many treatments will I need?

A: All patients are different and require their unique treatment plan. When you are assessed, the physiotherapist will discuss an anticipated amount of treatment and the frequency in which you should come to physiotherapy. This may vary as your condition progresses.

Q:Do you provide treatment under public funding, also known as MSP?

A:Yes, we do cover treatment under MSP. Please call us to discuss if you are covered.

Q:How do I process payment for the services?

A:Most extended health care benefits package will cover physiotherapy services. We direct bill with most insurances.

Patients who have suffered a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) do not require to pay for their physiotherapy services. We will bill the insurance corporation of British Columbia directly through HCPIR.

Q:Who can seek treatment at your clinic?

A:- Regular patients, from children to adults.

- Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult

Q:Will you contact any other health care professionals on my behalf?

A:We encourage constant collaboration with your family doctor. This is often maintained by providing progress reports when deemed necessary. We must obtain verbal consent before sending this type of information to your family doctor.
